When I first started researching money making sites prior to launching this site one of the first I found was Kumiko’s Cash Quest . I cant remember how I got there now as it was a whole 4 or 5 days ago but I do remember what I thought when I first landed there - ‘My god this is pink’. Now personally I dont really like pink but I have to admit it did made the site look unique, even if it did made me expect it was going to contain lots of girlie stories about puppies and makeup (I actually quite like puppies so I was quietly excited). My first impression was very wrong however. The content of Kumikos site was exactly what I was looking for, being a site about making money online, plus it also showed her progress from the very beginning - perfect for someone starting out on the same road. The site was basically the same kind of site  I was planning to do but 3 months down the line and it had been done very well with a style all of its own.

‘I can learn some stuff here’ I thought to myself - ‘I will have a good look after reading about the puppies’. One of the few flaws of Kumikos Cash Quest is that it doesnt have a search function (maybe she will add this later when she has much more content) so I had to look for the puppy stuff myself. As I started my journey through the content though, I found a severe lack of puppies but some great content written in a style that made you feel connected to Kumiko. I got a sense of her enthusiasm for what she was doing and it seemed she enjoys the work she puts into her blog. It was a refreshing read and made some of the long established, popular blogs seem quite dry in comparision. Its not all nice fluffy and pink though, Kumiko has no hesitation in being very straight talking when she wants to as her posts on AGLOCO show and she has received some critisism for the hard line she has taken. The site is building up a good community of readers quite quickly and her style is developing as the traffic flows in. One of my favourite posts is her ‘6 lessons Britney Spears Can Teach you about Blogging’ which is a humourous set of tips for bloggers using Britneys life as an analogy and Im sure it brings a smile to the face of most that read it.

Another good idea Kumiko has come up with is a competition to guess her blogs google pagerank. As it is a newish blog it hasnt received a page rank yet but it is due to anyday soon. If you write a review and include your guess of what the new page rank will be you have a chance of winning 30us$ plus you get a link to your review on here site. A winner for everyone. Im going to be cautious and guess a pagerank of 3 but I expect I may well be beaten by somethng higher!
